As a leading Manufacturer of Commercial Kitchen and Health Care Equipment, we are seeking individual with a solid work history to join us full time in our growing domestic and international businesses. Assists Customers with orders and quotations; solicits product sales by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Receives inbound calls from customers;
Enters and processes customers’ orders using the Direct Order Entry system;
Monitors order schedules to track order progress;
Contacts Production Control and the Shipping Department to arrange for the order to be processed and sent to the customer;
Produces standard commercial quotes as well as training on heavy custom quotations, providing customer with best possible pricing and product to meet needs;
Checks inventory levels available via in-house computer system;
Issues credits and return authorizations;
Analyzes sales levels and suggests new sales strategies;
Liaison between shipping department and customer regarding freight damage and shortages;
Corresponds with other departments through the interoffice e-mail and messaging system;
Follow up on all quotations and drawing approval for specified territory;
Works independently and at a productive pace;
Follows all Company and sales policies;
Maintains customer sales notes;
Timely completes projects;
Assists in the training of new personnel; and
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer correspondence, invoices, order forms, product specification sheets and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
